Basic Qualifications

After the university publishes its admission list or cut-off for a particular subject, the admission process at DU will begin. Students will be able to submit an application for admission based on their professional goals or areas of interest. The particular counselling sessions can be completed offline by students. Depending on the number of open seats in the various UG courses, counselling sessions will be held at each round.

 

To be admitted to the chosen course, candidates must pass the GD (Group Discussions) or PI (Personal Interview) rounds. As of October 1, 2021, the DU 2021 cut-off has been made public. Cut-off for degree courses in science, commerce, the arts, and other subjects is announced separately. The cut-off is the minimum number of points a student must obtain in order to pass the qualifying 10+2 exam.

  • An aggregate of 97-99.50% or above marks is enough to take admissions in DU. 
  • Same in this course, the merit shall be determined on the basis of the open language and three best academic/ elective subjects. 
  • To take admission in this particular course, students have studied and passed mathematics on the 12th examination boards. 

B.Com (Hons)

  • 99.50% aggregate marks are required to enroll in this UG course. 
  • Students from science and commerce backgrounds can take admission to this regular programme. Must have studied/ passed mathematics/ Business Mathematics. 
  • The student shall be obtained qualifying marks in their examination which includes one language and three best subjects. 
  • 45% or more aggregate marks of Hindi/English and the combination of Mathematics/ Accountancy/ Economics and Business studies is required in B.Com (Hons). 

B.Com (Program) 

  • 97% or above aggregate marks are considered to take admission in this regular b.com program. 
  • Students from commerce as well as science streamers can do apply for this particular course. 
  • Commerce without mathematics students can apply for this regular program. 
  • Though students can add one core language and three elective subjects in their best four percent. 

B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science 

  • Mathematics, one core language (Hindi/English), with two other subjects is required to be secured.
  • 60% or above marks are required only in mathematics subjects. 
  • The admission is based on the aggregate of 12th board examination in best four academic subjects inclusive of one language, mathematics, and two out of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Information Practices. 

B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics / Statistics 

  • An aggregate of 95% – 97% or above is necessary marks in the qualifying 12th examination.

Direct Admission Entrance Examination

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to Delhi University's master's program may select one of 17 cities from all over the nation to take the written entrance exam for DU PG admission in 2021. Check out Delhi University's two admissions procedures for postgraduate programs:
