Qualifications for Admission to the BA (Honours) Program: Program for Admission Based on Merit

Both program-specific eligibility requirements and general eligibility requirements must be met by students who wish to apply for admission to UG level programs. To find out if you meet the minimal requirements for UG admissions, follow these steps:

Generally Acceptable

Students must have passed their most recent qualifying exam with an overall score of at least 45%.

Three other academic courses and one language subject will be used to determine or evaluate merit. Lists A and B of the admissions brochure will list the same.

If you choose to take any subjects other those on Lists A and B, you risk losing 2.5% of your overall scores for each subject, which will be divided among the top four subjects.

The student must decide on one core course as their area of specialization before applying for admission. If you don't follow suit, the final percentage will be reduced by 2.5 percent.

It is necessary to check the list of eligibility for some particular programs if you are looking for program-specific eligibility requirements. The School of Open Learning at Delhi University makes reference to it on its official website.
